Hyperlinks

I have setup a page in Front Page with hyperlinks, which looks fine in
preview. When I publish it, some of the links change colour to that of a
visited link, even on machines where the site has not been accessed. Am I
missing something obvious?

Thanks in advance.

Would those links point to a location that that browser has been before?

The browser on the machines I built it on, yes, but not the browser of the
machine viewing the page.

I have tried deleting the history, before I save/publish the pages.

Are the hyperlink to bookmarks?

In Internet Explorer hyperlinks to bookmarks on the same page will
nearly always take on the colours of visited links. This is a feature
of Internet Explorer.
The only time this does not happen is when the page is not in the
browser's History, and no links have been clicked on the page (and
even that is not consistent).
