Hyperlinks

I am able to create a hyperlink in Word or Outlook but the only way to open
the link is to right click and select open.

Can you tell me how to create the hyperlink so that the little hand shows on
the link for a direct link?

Control and click to hypherlink in Word. The hand doesn't appear in Word.

After further searching, I've found the answer to my question above.

You many need to hold Ctrl and click the link.
