Hello,
I searched and couldn't find a situation similar enough for me to
solve my problem, hence this post.
The zip code field has 5 digits sometimes, and 7 other times; I would
like for word to distinguish between the two and insert a hyphen when
the field has 7 digits...please help. Thanks!

I am not good at vba or visual basic, but I thought of a solution. If
there is an easier one that does not require a macro, (or entering
hyphens by hand on a 12,000 person merge list) please let me know,
otherwise, the following rough code (I think) could solve the problem,
if someone could also correct my syntax, and tell me where the code
(what event, what form, etc) needs to go. Thanks again,
Yaw
