I am getting this I "must select repeating group or field"

Hello, I am stumped here. I hope someone can help me figure out why the
heck I am getting this. I have a repeating table with a dropdown list.
When I call on an xml file to that field and it is telling me that "you must
select repeating group or field" Which I am doing. Why am I getting this?
Please help. Thank you.
