I am having trouble with the orientation of the print on mailing l

I just installed Office 2007. I have been using Office 2003 for some time.
Today I tried to generate some mailing labels. They were 30 per sheet (3
across x 10 rows). The default puts the printing at 90 degrees to the long
dimension of the label. In 2003, the default made the printing parallel to
the long dimension.

I cannot figure out how to change the orientation of the print.

Thank you for your help.

You appear to have managed to change the table defaults (labels are tables).
Frankly I am not sure how you managed that, but if you rename the normal
template normal.dotm to normal.old and restart Word it will build a new
default template which should fix the problem.

In the meantime youcan check by creating a new document from the labels tool
and from the layout tab check the text direction.
