I am having word 2007 crash.......anyone else?

I am having word 2007 crash and the diagnostics state that this is a hardware
problem. I have not changed or added anything since I loaded this program on
my computer.

Vista ultimate and word 2007.

What exactly does the error message say? It's hard to diagnose without more
specifics. I've never heard of Word 2007 crashing with any kind of hardware
error message.

Have you checked the events viewer? What does it say about the error? Is
there an error number?

I ran the set up diagnostics and I received a message that I have a hardware failure or hardware configuration problem. I am suppose to run the memory diagnostics to determine if a hardware failure is affecting the my installation of office 2007.

I am not sure how to do this and I am wondering why it would happen with out
any other changes being made. No other programs seem to be affected. However,
my outlook has never worked correctly....so I am confused about this.

Do you have any suggestions?

Outlook 2007 and Word 2007 have little in common other than proofing tools,
so I suggest posting that problem to the Outlook Newsgroup. Meantime, open
Word and go to Word Options (alt+F, I), select Resources tab and click on
Diagnose.
