i want to do a front page for a newspaper and can't find a suitable template

Publisher is geared more toward newsletters than newspapers. Many templates

Try a newsstand. Look how different ones are done and go from them. In
all honesty, if you cannot figure out how to do this, you won't be able
to publish a paper.

Mary,

Cant't say I have, but it's quite the collection of layouts. I didn't
see any tabloids listed, though. I sort of wish mine was a broadsheet -
it gives me far more room on the front page. If the OP cannot get an
idea from your link, he/she better consider a different line of work!
