I am losing text pages when opening a PPT 2002 in PPT 2003?

I have copied and pasted a PPT 2002 file onto my PC that has PPT 2003, and I
have lost the formatting and text of 2 slides out of 85 slides. Does anyone
know about this issue and is there a fix?

Unfortunately I am only using Powerpoint 2003 and the rest of the Office
package is XP. So i will try to get the update and see what happens with
that.
