I am suddenly getting "access denied" when I try to insert a file.

I am suddenly getting "access denied" when I try to insert a file from "my
documents" in Outlook 2000. It just started this morning; it worked fine
yesterday.
I can access this folder from explorer with no problems and the file I am
trying to insert is in the "recent files" listing in Outlook and it inserted
it from there, but it will not let me access "my documents" folder????
