I am trying to install Microsoft Word 2000 and it asks for cd key value
number. I don't have that number I bought my computer used and the software
came with it.

Go and berate the person who sold it to you. If you paid explicitly for the
software then you've been robbed. If you didn't and the seller just threw it
in, then they've breached the licence terms.
