According to the help system it has been removed from the product. Question
to MS, Will it be back or are we back to 3rd party products?

Hi Steve,

MS Speech recogintion belongs to the Windows team and although Office introduced it when shipping it with an earlier version of Word
they're following the policy of not including Windows products in the apps with respect to 2007. Windows Vista will have dictation
as I understand it as part of its speech engine and the engine is available in Windows XP, but it's not clear what support they will
provide to Office 2007 in Windows XP from the Speech team.
