I can not open a wood doc. Have reloaded office 2000. If I try to open a doc
it hangs and grabs all resources. Help!!!

Have you tried an axe? (just had to ask) Actually the reason may be your
anti-virus scanner attempting to scan the doc you are trying to open,
disable the Office Plugin, and try again. If that's not the case, go to
Help, Detect and Repair.
