I can not open any components of Office

For last month have not been able to open any component of Office 2003
student & teacher edition. When attempting I get message -unable to
initialize properly (0xc0150002).
Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

error message when you start an Office 2003 program on a Windows XP
Professional-based computer
