I can not send and recieve - help

I have a new computer, and I am trying to set up Outlook for my emails. I
have entered all my info in the email account and when I send a TEST ACCOUNTS
SETTINGS it comes back Congratulations. However, it is not sending and
receiving and when I try to write a letter the following message is given.

Microsoft Word is set to be your email editor. However, Word is
unavailable, not installed, or is not the same version as Outlook. The
Outlook e-mail editor will be used instead.

Then it does not allow me to send, only save the letter as a draft.
HELP

So, don't use Word as your mail editor.
