I cannot add words to my Dictonary

Hello,

I am unable to add words to my Mac Office dictionary. Every time I
use a word that the program does not know it marks it as incorrect and
when I try to add the word the option is grayed out and I can't even
select that option.

What do I do?

P.S.: My entire office suite is up to date and I tried a re-install too

I found the reason for it not working. Thanks anyway!!!
