I cannot configure outlook 2003 to DL mail.

I am trying to configure Outlook 2003 to DL email from my Army AKO account.
I can receive mail, but cannot send anything. I configured it per the
instructions for AKO Email with no luck.

account will be deleted without reading.

Well, since we are expected to *guess* at was the error message that you
received, my guess is "E-mail download has been rejected because you
failed inspection. Tie those shoelaces now and shine those shoes,
mister! Hup, hup, hup, hup."

If AKO is not your POP email provider and ISP, you cannot use Outlook. You
must be forwarding your AKO mail to your regular email acct. There's a help
desk you can consult at the ako web site.
