I cannot edit an enterprise custom outline code

I have entered an enterprise custom outline code with 2 levels. I
entered and edit mask but now I don't need a mask. I cannot delete or
change this - even as an administrator. What am I doing wrong?

If you are trying to remove the custom enterprise outline code field, do the
following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Open the Enterprise Global file
3. Click Tools - Organizer
4. Select the Fields tab
5. From the list of fields on the right, select the field to remove
6. Click the Delete button
7. Click the Close button
8. Save and close the Enterprise Global
9. Close Microsoft Project Professional and then relaunch the software to
view the latest changes to the Enterprise Global
