i cannot open outlook 2007

After switching off my laptop via the power button I cannot open outlook.
When I try I get the message cannot open outlook window. I have tried
uninstalling and reinstalling bit to no availal

Of course not. If you turn off the power, nothing will run. Somehow, I don't
think you said what you really wanted to say.

Never turn off the power on your PC while you have programs running. Always
exit the programs first. Better yet, after closing programs, turn off your PC
using Windows' "Shut down" facility.

To care care of the problem you describe, try starting Outlook once with the
/resetnavpane command switch: Start>Run (or Search)>outlook.exe /resetnavpane.
Don't forget the space in that command.
