I cannot paste pictures to a Word document

How are you trying, and what happens. What version of Word are you using. We
need more information.

-- I tried the the cut and paste, but sometimes nothing shows up or a empty
block where the picture would be shows up. I can cut and paste words and
sentences. This started when I changed to outlook from outlook express and I
am using Word as my outlook editor.

If you are copying from the Internet it could be your temporary cache is full,
in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options, delete files.

Hello, I am not copying from the internet. I am trying to insert clip art in
a worg document. A empty outlined block shows up, but not the clip art. This
started when I started changed from Outlook express to Outlook.

Hello again, After playing around trying to figure out the problem I found
that if I print the document the clip prints when I print the document, but
again it does not appear on the screen. Just a outlined box where the clip
would be pasted.

Tools>Options>View, clear the check for Picture Placeholders, make sure the
is a check for Drawings.

Thank you very much. That did it.

need help with multiple pics in outlook

I am having the same problem with pictures (when getting an email with lots
of pictures in Microsoft Outlook). I cannot see them all at the same time. I
have to open each one individually. Originally, I found something on the net
that I downloaded for free and it allowed me to see them all at one time, but
I cannot find that again. I have found a few hints online, but they do not
have the same tool bars at the top to follow the directions in my version of
Outlook. I was using Outlook Express and I can see all the pictures when they
come in. Also, I tried copy and paste of the attachments into a Word document
and I get "boxes/icons" of each picture with the number of the picture. I can
click on each picture in Word, but it does not come up where the actual
picture pastes on to the Word document. So, it takes me just as long to view
multiple pictures. My friend says he can do it on his and I read the comment
below for yours and I do not have those options on my drop down boxes, so I
am stuck. Is this all because we are using different versions of Outlook. I
have XP.

I cannot open attachments in Full print view, I always have to click to get
them to full view. How do I set this to default.

It's hard to be sure what you mean, but I suspect you're opening attachments
directly rather than saving them to the HD first and that they're opening in
Reading Layout view. If so, you can disable Reading Layout on the General
tab of Tools | Options. Attachments will then open in the view in which they
were saved, which most of the time will be Print Layout view.
