I made a slide in my old mac (iBook OS X10.3, powerpoint older version), and recently copied that file to my new computer ( OS X10.5, powerpoint 2004). The problem is that the picture in the slide is flipped. So, I fixed and saved it. And then I re-opened the file. Well it went to back!!!. What is happening here? Any remedy for this problem?

Thanks,

Hi,

I noticed this, too.

You should use Help > Send Feedback to report the problem to Microsoft
so it can be addressed in an updated.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reports. We are aware of the issue of not retaining the
flipped state of a picture on save. Please continue to send in your
feedback, it is really useful!

There are a few things you can do.

The first solution that will guarantee you have the correct image is to
export the flipped image and re-insert it. I personally wouldn't call it
practical, but it will at least workaround the issue.

I've also had success copying the image (yep, just copying it) prior to
saving, as well as using Paste Special. Your mileage may vary on these
workarounds. This problem seems to crop up most when the flip is done as the
last thing prior to saving.

(by the way, if you don't know already, to export the image, right click (or
Cntrl+click) on the image and select Save Picture As..., then choose a
location and the format to save it in)
