I cannot send mail from home through outlook to my work e-mail se.

I am using Outlook 2000, my work e-mail account is my default account, no
problem there. However I am having problems using Outlook from home to send
messages through my home DSL service to my work e-mail server. The perplexing
problem is that I can pickup mmy in box messgaes on my work account at home.
Message receiving and sending through internet explorer no problem.
