I cannot start PowerPoint 2003 SP2 on WindowsXP from my app.

Works fine for previous versions and also works fine on Windows 2000. Has
anybody tried the hot fix at this link?

Yes as a matter of fact I have! And it works just wonderfully. Once the
fix was applied I was able to automate PowerPoint fine with no changes to my
code.
