I cann't send out my mail.

In my company we are using OutLook2000 cames from Office2000,
I can recieve and send my mail via the Exchange server in our company,
Now, I want to get the newsgroups with Outlook Express5.0 , at the same time,
I want to set the OE as the default mail checker ,
but after I config. the OE, I found I just can get the mail but cann't send out.
I know there are something wrong with my SMTP server, Who can tell me how to fix it ?

I found the default SMTP server port had been changed by the
administrator,and it is not 25 yet.
so I cann't send out my mails, the problem is how to get the correct port
num??
