The only way I can find ecxel is to open an existing file in my documents,
and the click on a new work sheet. My other office programs show up on
Microsoft Ofice, but not excel.

You or someone probably deleted or maybe moved the "Icon" to an a
adjacent folder on the start menu. I suggest looking first, and if found
drag it back. If not, Open one of the other applications and do a Help,
detect and repair, and allow it to restore the shortcuts.

well, we know its indere sumwhere...

the easiest way is to go to file explorer,
tools, folder options, file types.

then look for the excel file extension and
browse to see how windows has assigned
the opening of that file. You will beable
to get the location of the program that opens
that specific extension.

the other way is to simply search your drive
for excel.exe or maybe *.exe, depending on
your preference....

hello,
my excel is in an office folder under program files...

but i think that the o.p. is havng trouble w/locating his/hers...

so i suggested that the program that was opening
the excel file could be discovered by looking up
the file type ....

there are other ways to find the program as well.....
