i cant find my 2000 office disk and spyware/adaware

M

marcus88

i have had alot of trouble with my computer. it is infected with viruses,
especially spyware/adaware and i cant remove them! how could i do so?
recently i have tried to run microsoft word, excel etc, but everytime i do,
the computer brings up a 'windows installer' menu. it says...
"the feature you are trying to use is on a cd-rom or other removable disc
that is not available.
insert the 'microsoft office 2000 premium' disk and click ok."
i would do that but i cant find my microsoft office 2000 disk, is there
another way around this?

Try SpyBot, Search and Destroy and AdAware, both are freeware and may solve
your problem with that stuff. Try HouseCall from TrendMicro to rid your
computer of viruses. STOP opening every freakin' attachment you get!!!
Purchase and keep updated a AV program, or try the one from grisoft.com - it
is free and updates often. Make sure you do the updates at least weekly,
daily being better.

As for the Office 2000 problem, you are out of luck if you can't find your
disks as Microsoft no longer has any replacement disks in stock.
