I have changed jobs.
I have archived my old Outlook 2007 data and now want to open a CLEAN NEW PST.
This is proving impossible.
The old 'default Exchange' file has 'remove' greyed out - even though I have
added a new PST and set it to default.
Just to try and fool the system, I have gone as far as copying out the old
files to a different folder - at which point Outlook freaks and refuses to
start.
This seems NUTZ !
How does anyone close one PST and open a new one ?
BTW: After Outlook refused to open at all - I ran the Office diagnostics -
which happily reported that there was no problem... what kind of idiot was
in charge of checking if the diagnostics routine works - when it gives a
'clean bill of health' to a product that won't start ?!?!?
