With my issue of Excell 2007 I cannot make the unhide column work. I can hide
columns but cannot reverse and unhide them, either by going to thr formate
screens or by right clicking.

You can always select the column(s) and set the width to 10 instead of
unhide. It MAY not be unhidable if in fact it already has a small but non-0
width (because it is already unhidden). Further, you can try autofitting the
column.

Select the column to the left of the hidden column(s) and the column
to the right of the hidden column(s), right click, and choose UnHide.
E.g,. if column F is hidden, click on the E column header, hold down
the SHIFT key, click on the G column header, right-click, and choose
Unhide.

I had the same problem and then remembered that I had the sheet 'Protected'.
You have probably already thought of that but give it a try.
