i cant open a 2003 ppt file in my 2003 power point. i get a "can'.

First, when asking questions in this newsgroup, put your question in the
body of the message, not in the subject. Your question is cut off, and I
can't read the whole thing.

Second, open PowerPoint, go to the Help menu, and choose Check for Updates.
Follow the instructions to install Service Pack 1 (SP1). This is likely to
solve your problem.
