I can't open any reports!!

Any time i try and open a report, whether it be using VB code or if i double
click a report in the menu it won't work.

If I use the VB OpenReport command, I get a message box saying:
"The OpenReport action was canceled."

If I double click on a report in the menu i get an hourglass for 2 seconds
and then absolutely nothing happens.

I've restarted my laptop and the same thing happens. If i open the file on
another computer, then things work fine and the report opens; but somehow on
my laptop now i can't open reports.

any suggestions would be appreciated...
