I can't open any word document...get the message "insufficient memory to
display font". I have plenty of memory and there are no special fonts in the
document (which is only 91K in size!).

Hi, ChrisL. Two things to try:
1. Select a different printer in Start | Control Panel | Printers, and
make it the default Windows printer. Then try to open a Word file.
Does the problem persist? If not, then the problem is caused by a
damaged printer driver for your "regular" printer. Delete and reinstall
the printer driver.
