I can't open anything in PowerPoint.

I try to open something in PowerPoint and I get a message that says:
"PowerPoint failed to start correctly last time. Starting PowerPoint in Safe
Mode will help you correct or isolate a startup problem in order successfully
start the program. Some functionality may be disabled in this mode."
Then it asked if I want to start PowerPoint in the safe mode. I did that and
nothing seems to help. I have uninstalled Microsoft Office 2007 and
reinstalled it. That did not help.
If anyone has any suggestions, I am open.

Thanks,

Tom

You might try running the MS Office repair tool, but this is a tough
one. If repair tool doesn't work, try booting your PC in safe mode and
uninstalling Office there. It may clean out more of the bad data than a
traditional uninstall. Let us know how things turn out.

If you go to Office Button | PPT Options | Add-ins, what do you see listed
there?

Also, make sure you've applied SP2 for Office 2007. It does a lot of
correction of printer driver issues in PPT, which are one cause of the type
of crash/reboot you're describing.
