I can't re-install my Office xp professional on my new computer

I purchased a new computer system and have tried to re-install my Office
Professional 2002. The message tells me that it does not recognize. How do
I re-install.

What doesn't it recognize? Can you provide the entire error message?
Could it be the installation CD needs to be cleaned?
