I can't read mdi documents - no associated reader installed

I would liketo use the microsoft office document image writer, however once
created they cannot be read on my machine as there is no associated
extention for the appropriate reader.

I have been experimenting with Office 2007 and wonder if there are issues
here with MDI. However it might just be a case of knowing what needs to be
used to read these files and putting the association back. I can read .tif
files because I have other associations with apps that can. hope you can
help - chris

Hi Chris,

The MS Office Document Imaging application is an optional installation item. You can set it to 'run from my computer' status by
making changes through your MS Office 2007 choice in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel.
