I can't record a video message using my logitech web cam

Hi

I can't record a video message using my logitech web cam but I can take a
snap shot picture. The message I get is that it can't save it to c/. I have
another slightly newer computer and it works fine on that one. Is there
something I should download.

Also this means I can't have a video conversation.

Hope someone can help me out
