I can't see headers and footers

We have a company template that contains both headers & footers - all of a
sudden when I have a document in print preview I can't see them (although I
know they are still there). Sometimes the appear maybe a minute later. I was
wondering if this may have happened since the last office 2003 upgrade. Is
anyone else having the same problem or can someone please help.

That doesn't seem to be the issue - I actually found that. I rolled back my
windows to an early point and it worked prefectly I actually think it is
being caused by a Microsoft Update for XP but I can't work out which one.

Try reducing or turning off hardware acceleration in your display adapter.

Not that either.... i'm sure it's related to either an office/windows xp
update or something else I have downloaded. As I said if I go to an earlier
restore point in windows it works fine. I don't install that much so that's
why I think it's an XP update that has done it (I haven't dowloaded service
pack 2 yet) - Thanks for trying!

Do you have "Drawing objects" checked on the Print tab of Tools | Options?

Sure is..... this looks like it's a problem exclusively to me, maybe I need
to check other programs I have installed. I've been told thay IE6 actually
controls a lot of the images that are used in word - this problem only
happens with image files (not text) that are used in the header.
