I can't see my clip arts placed behind text!

When I put a clip art behind text it becomes invisible both on-screen and
when I print - I haven't had this problem before. Am I doing something wrong?

On the View tab of Tools | Options, make sure the "Drawings" check box is
checked. On the Print tab of Tools | Options, check the box for "Drawing
objects."
