I can't see photos in a word doc but I can see them when I print

I can't see photos in a word doc but I can see them when I print out the same
document. I dont know how to make my photos appear in my word docs--I only
get the outline of a box. HELP!!!!

What version of Word are you using - that can *always* make a difference.

Assuming 2003, go to Tools>Options>View & remove the check on Picture
Placeholders. Otherwise let us know what you _are_ using.
