i can't send or receive mail

hello - can somebody PLEASE help me, i haven't been able to send or receive
mail in outlook since friday.

my connection is ok

i can use outlook express but it doesn't have my address book or other info
i need

it keeps returning the error message 0x80040116

can anyone help me please it is very frustrating
