I cant type any text in office

Just got new Laptop with Vista and Office 2007 I am its sole user and I am
stuck. Ive been using is fine but now for no good reason I am unable to type
or edit any old or new documents (word or excel). I am unable to access the
protect documents tab and have looked at the security permisions but I dont
have a clue what I am doing.

Please help

Hi Gary,

Will you confirm if you are using a retail Office 2007? The symptom seems to
be that your office 2007 has beed deactivated, most likely after the trial
period.

Did your laptop have the 2007 Office trial installed? Could be it has run out of
time.
