I cant type on the entire page of my document

I want to be able to type onto the entire document, instead it only allows me
to type text on the center of the document before it continues on next page

Well, a good place to start would be margin settings. Also make sure that
the vertical alignment is set to Top rather than Center. And make sure that
your paragraphs are not formatted as "Page break before."
