I didn't activate office 12 apparently before using 50 times. it now has
expired. I have tried to activate via hekp and activate product but i just
get the expired menu. How do I activate the product I have the CD and
product key.

I can not do anything other than open existing docs and receive emails

Thank you

And he downloaded it from the Internet?
Why didn't you just activate it?
You might have to get your own set of product keys.

If you have MS Office 2007 Beta 2 you should be able to activate it over the internet and the product keys for that edition are
listed thhrough the download page for the 'Get the beta' link below.

Use Start=>Search on your computer to look for MSO.DLL. If the properties of that file show that it is a version earlier than
12.0.4017.xxxx then it is not the public beta and has expired.

Once expired MS Office trial, preview and beta software becomes, basically a 'file viewer' set.

Bob
I have checked and it is an earlier version, I have tried to download it
again but it says only one set up allowed. so i have tried add and delete
programmes and it says setup could not find any available products to
install. I have copied the data file .pst and was hoping to remove the
office12 and download and activate it to retrieve my emails etc.

any ideas?

Thanks

simon
