I don't get it.

First of all, I gotta apologize to those who took exception to my profanity
in some recent posts, but I gotta wonder.

'MSPublisher' displays extreme xenophobia, insulting those who aren't from
his little corner of Australia, saving most of his venom for Britian (he
should thank their former penal code for his heritage) and the USA... but
this group accepts it.

'MSPublisher' wastes no time belittling, insulting, and degrading those who
accidentally wander in here thinking they could get answers for Picture IT!
or Home Publishing (what, POLITELY pointing them in the right direction and
setting followups accordingly is TOO MUCH WORK?)... but this group accepts
it.

'MSPublisher' apparently has the rank of MVP in this group but loves to bash
Microsoft for its supposed failure to throughly police and filter out all
porn/spam and virii that appear in these NGs... but this group accepts it.

'MSPublisher' also loves to get in the face of those who use software he
himself apparently had problems with, without regard to the fact that others
may be using those programs successfuly... but this group accepts it.

'MSPublisher' apparently loves to take a lead pipe to the knees of those who
violate netiquette... but this group accepts it.

So I come in here, looking for some useful tips (lurk before posting,
y'know), then see the absolutely pitiful way 'MSPublisher' treats people, so
I give him a good raking over the coals and get spanked for it. Why the
double standard?

You know what? I'll look elsewhere for answers to my Publisher questions.
Have fun with your friend 'MSPublisher'.

Hi Morris Overmayer ([email protected]),

No problem.

People in the group don't ACCEPT it, they just ignore it, and look for his
informative and helpful posts (which he does have any MANY occasions).

MS Publisher (also known as David A.) is not a Microsoft MVP.

See above response.

See above response.

Who raked or spanked you?

|| You know what? I'll look elsewhere for answers to my Publisher
|| questions. Have fun with your friend 'MSPublisher'.

I would rather you stay and let us help you, or have you help others. If you
are wise enough, you could find away to either ignore David's posts, accept
them, or block them and share your knowledge with the rest of the community.
David A has been posting here WELL before any single person in this entire
newsgroup and Microsoft is not going to censor his posts (as they
shouldn't). He is free to say what he does in this public forum, as are you.
If he, or anyone else, were to break the newsgroup rules (threats etc.),
then he (or they) would be properly reported.

So, please stay here with us and help out when you can, and let us be there
for you whenever you might need us. We look forward to your company.
