I found a bug in Word 2007 with the latest updates

When you have a document and insert a blank page at the front of this
document, this page is not spell checked or grammar checked. This is pretty
irresponsible when I'm relying on Word to cover my @$$. Here I have a resume
and I sometimes want to add a cover page at the beginning.

It is on my copy of Word 2007. I checked it with both a new document and an
existing one.

If it is blank, there's nothing to check. Are you adding text to the page?
If the text is being skipped, the option 'Do not check spelling or grammar'
must be checked. That is not a default condition.
