I get a general mail failure when I try to send from excel?

GENERAL MAIL FAILURE

When I try to send an email from anywhere other than Outlook I get some type
of error. It happen once before, but I thought downloading an update took
care of it. Currently I have all of the updates downloaded.
Any suggestions?
