Hey there...
Every 15-20 minutes I get a "new email" icon in the sys-tray with the audio
alert that I have set up to notify me. The problem is, there is no new email.
I can check every folder and nothing shows up. When I delete any email (from
any folder) the icon goes away.
My deleted items and sent items folders have been emptied, and I have run
the repair Outlook option and it is still happening. The only program I have
installed in the last few weeks (this started a couple of weeks ago) is the
new Microsoft Spam Blocker. I have since uninstalled it, but it did not seem
to help.
I am running outlook 2000.
Has this ever happened to anyone else??
