when I go install a game the requires the use of DOS i get this message come
up in the blue heading of the error box it says: 16 bit MS-DOS subsystem, the
the messsage inside the error box says:

d:setup.pif
C:WINDOWS/system32/Autoexec.nt. The System file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows Applications. Choose Close to terminate the
application.

There are two button one called 'Close' and the other'ignore' but the ignore
button doesn't do a thing, the message just keeps appearing so I have to
chosse close.

Can anyone please help me fix this problem????

I don't see the connection with MS Office, so try the first:

If you don't see anything there, then please try a newsgroup for your
operating system.

There are no guarantees that a DOS game will work on a system that no longer
has DOS. Time to get a new game - I've heard there are a few out there that
will run on a Windows system.
