Confused creator

My question is i have made a database on Microsoft Access. I am making a
website in which people must type in there user name and password to log on
well my question is how do i like the info to the database, have the database
soo if it is correct and then log them on?

I think you would have better luck asking this question in a news group
about web design such as ASP or ASP.NET or FrontPage or other.
