I have an interesting EV problem

I have only one PM with several project plans that are all exhibiting the
same issue.

Background info that looks good to me. For any task at issue ...

1. Work and Actual Work are the same
2. %-complete and %-work complete are both at 100%

But ...

a. CVP & SVP information are very erroneous
b. Actual Complete is still "NA"
c. Remaining Duration is non-zero

But if I ...

o Manually enter a date into Actual Complete, the task
EV's re-compute and are then fine; or,
o Add a bit more to Actual Work (say an extra hour);
and again the EV's will adjust themselves.

Any ideas? I'm at wits end here ... thanks ...
