I have back-up outlook.pst file (computer died). Trying to impor.

I am trying to import my old outlook.pst file into my new system and I keep
getting FILE IS ACCESS DENIED. YOU DO NOT HAVE THE PERMISSION REQUIRED TO
ACCESS THE FILE F:\...\Outlook.pst

How do I get to point that I can input to put in the password showing I do
have permission? HELP I am using Office 2003 and Windows XP

Hal Hostetler [MVP-DTS]

Make sure your backup copy doesn't have the "Read-Only" attribute set. Your
..PST file must be set "Read Write" before Outlook will open it.
