I have built a filter

1. I need to determine the number of rows for the filter

2. I need to have a sum of all values in a column, only
for the filter .i.e. I need to sum up "A" Column for a
total

or use
=SUBTOTAL(3,A1:A1000)

2. Use
=SUBTOTAL(9,A1:A1000)

Look in help for the SUBTOTAL function, it will calculate visible rows
